WEKINO, a Korean furniture brand, has launched its new VINO furniture collection in collaboration with Korean industrial design studio KUO DUO. The collection includes four main categories: VINO Chair, Table, Sofa, and Low Table. This marks Wekino's major furniture collection launch in a long time, with all pieces meticulously crafted from solid wood, reflecting Wekino's rich heritage of wood craftsmanship.
As implied by the Italian word for wine, 'VINO’, KD envisioned warm gatherings with family and friends, incorporating this sentiment into the furniture design. They specifically chose beech wood, known for its light and soft tone, as the main material to emphasize a natural and bright atmosphere. The collection features simple yet refined silhouettes and details, creating furniture that can be comfortably used everyday in various spaces such as homes, cafés, restaurants and lounges.
VINO Chair has been precisely crafted through a combination of CNC machining and handcrafting to ensure lasting comfort. The smooth curve and wide design of the back legs adds character to the chair, allowing the chair to blend seamlessly into any space while enhancing its inviting appearance. With a variety of color options, including all-natural, seat color, and all-color versions, it offers versatile styling possibilities.
