Mycelium Mask is a series of masks made of mushroom mycelium. Mycelium is a promising sustainable material in terms of consuming natural waste to grow and being naturally biodegradable. This material can be grown into the desired shape with moulds, and has a soft-white texture. Masks were intended to showcase the advantages of this biomaterial and its potential application. The thought that biomaterial is still far from the public to know and experience led to design an objet-type mask with a bit of humor and friendly approach. There are 5 masks designs inspired by the natural shapes of various mushrooms.
