Exhibition: <Ban Ban Ban> at Onyang Folk Museum, Asan, Korea

Commissioned by Onyang Folk Museum to reinterpret the traditional Korean table, ‘Soban’. Among its variations, KD selected ‘Seoan’, a minimalist design with a middle tier traditionally used for storing books or objects. The redesigned table features a glass top supported by trestle legs, blending traditional elements with modern functionality. Its independent leg structure allows for easy disassembly, and storage, while also enabling the tabletop to be replaced. Notably, Seoan’s signature storage space beneath the tabletop has been reimagined with a trestle structure that incorporates a dual-layered design, preserving its original functionality while adding a contemporary, multi-layered twist.
