FOLD PLASTIC series is the further experiment using kerf cuts that we’ve dealing so far. Taking the kerf bending technique to the next step, we’ve applied it to ‘fold’ this board, giving a bouncy feeling and character of fabric sofa. A collection of furniture is designed to fully use the standard rectangular size of recycled plastic boards, eliminating waste or offcuts in the production process. The rectangular board is used without any shaping, but applied kerf cuts partially which enables it to be folded and fixed in single board.
